MyIkigai – Ikigai is an ancient philosophy that has for many years ignited the way Japanese people live. Some believe it’s their reason for being, it’s what gets them up in the morning and even brings them their happiness and longevity.
‘Iki’ in Japanese means ‘life,’ and ‘gai’ describes value or worth. MyIkigai wants to support you in igniting your reason for being.
About MyIkigai Co-Founders, Paul & Jay
MyIkigai is a brand created by us. We are Paul and Jay, founders who have dedicated a combined 60 years to martial arts and counting. Competing at the elite level, we have each won many national and international titles and proudly compete for the English National Karate Team.
We have each been running our own successful clubs in the South of England for more than ten years and as part of this we are passionate about what our students wear. We know that the right kit can make you feel empowered, motivated and strong, but we never quite found the whole package we were looking for. That’s when MyIkigai was born.
